Gaming systems

There's no doubt that modern games really are amongst the most demanding of all current gaming computer applications, extreme graphics require and extreme custom built computer.  The extreme gamer or hardcore custom PC enthusiast absolutely requires their gaming system to be responsive, multimedia capable, have a wealth of storage and fast disk access times to that storage.  We design custom gaming PCs to deliver just that.  In addition you have options to cater for all manner of PC gaming hardware.  Any compromise quickly degrades the immersive  experience, means you cannot be at your best performance and achieve the highest results without the right gaming computers to match.

A PC for photography and media professionals...

If you need a high performance PC for photography we understand exactly what's needed our custom computers are designed around your needs.  We all get frustrated when the tools we use to support our lives and work can't keep pace with us.  We don't want our computer for photography and digital arts to be waiting on egg timers, disk accesses, slow boot up times and stuttering screen rendering to manipulate our photographs, video or other media.

Much of the delay is caused by the sheer volume of data involved in manipulating multimedia and the need to compress, decompress and reorganise it.   A RAW photograph for example can be several 100MB in size and this needs to be moved almost instantaneously inside the PC between processor, memory, disk and removable storage.  A Computer for photography has to be designed specifically to handle this optimally. We real world test our Graphics workstation and PC for photography designs with applications like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Maya.  We recommend our entry level Core i7 machine the Cryo Tetrad for these types of applications or for the high end go for the multi=processor Nehalem EP Cryo Octane.

Good for Home theatre systems all power users...

Home theatre and home cinema systems with BluRay and HD encoding are surprisingly demanding on the power of your media centre PC.  So unlike most manufacturers we place emphasis on performance in our designs here as well, but also whisper quietness in operation.  In almost all cases its a matter of matching up what you need for what you do with what you can get the best value out of so you don't buy expensive components you simply don't require.  For most people we recommend the entry level Cryo Quad machine, for a smart media centre pc in the living room or home cinema try the Cryo Home Theatre PC ( HTPC ).

Cryo Boost™, Overclocking & Optimisation - Boost is a combination of design, assembly and software technology that we use to 'tune up' your custom PC and get the maximum processing power.  An important element of this is known as overclocking, the process of running the clocks of your system at a higher speed than the manufacturer intended.  Well we do a lot more than that.  We don't just boost the CPU speed we examine and boost every clock, reduce every delay timer, turn up every bus and eliminate all bottlenecks.  Without our careful component selection and enhanced cooling t simply wouldn't be possible to push the systems this hard.  We also have a few closely guarded secrets to throw into the mix that boost it still further.  What you might call an Extreme Overclock!
