Our entry level laptop is no slouch with two cores the processor clock speed can be that much higher. It's the fastest in its class as a small lightweight 15.6in display laptop. Good for gaming, and general performance use where four cores aren't required and mobility is the priority.
The Mercia leverages the latest Intel Callpela mobile chipset to provide support for the latest Intel Core i5/i7 processors and up to 8GB of high speed DDR3 memory. Together with the nVidia 560M graphics card the laptop has over 1TFlop of processing power. The AMD HD6990 Mobility and other graphics cards are available as options.
As well as the processing power the Mercia is fully 1080 HD capable and supports multi channel surround sound. You can use it on the move to watch BluRay's and DVD's with little sacrifice of sound and display quality. While the ergonomic design of the Chiclet (island keys) keyboard makes this a comfortable and fully capable desktop replacement. Full support for Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi 802.11a/g/n ensures connectivity is never an issue.
