Our range of pre-configured PCs with options should satisfy anybody's requirements.  However if you really want the freedom to choose your own components in exactly your own configuration you're welcome to do that with the Custom Cryo PC.  You can be your very own Extreme performance PC designer, the build configurator on the page below will guide you as far as possible as to what options you should choose and give you a running total of costs of the various subsystems as you go.  It will even give you an indicative benchmark score for the build you have chosen.  Every component is customer selectable, you can choose what you put in and what to leave out.  There are a wide variety different cases all selected based on proven capability in our labs and if you wish you can have those cases personally customised with your own paint or decal scheme.

If you find the technical options and choices daunting we strongly recommend you take a look at other Cryo preconfigured PC's such as the Quad, Extreme and Velox.  They have been carefully designed to offer the best performance-value combination and have a wealth of options that should satisfy most needs.

Of course all custom builds include in the base configuration our own Cryo Boost TM Overclock & Optimisation technology.  However we give the option to leave it out if you prefer to try to overclock it yourself.

Cryo Custom

Technical Specification

Now of course a Cryo Custom is going to offer a technical specification according to the components you choose to put in it. That's up to you. All custom builds will include as a minimum the following technical specification:

  • USB2 x 10 / eSATA / Firewire IEEE1394 400
  • 6+ x SATAII ports supporting RAID0/1/5/10 to 16TB storage capacity
  • High Definition multi-channel audio
  • 1600-2000MHz+ FSB
  • 1066MHz / 1333MHz+ DDR2 or DDR3 memory, to 96GB with Nehalem EP
  • Gigabit Ethernet, up to two ports
  • Overclocking tools
  • Hardware monitoring (temperature, voltage, fans etc)
  • Crash free BIOS
  • ATA/IDE floppy interfaces
  • Onboard hi definition multichannel sound and optional ultra fidelity soundcards
  • Half memory slots used, 2 of 4, 3 of 6 or 6 of 12, plenty of expansion room
  • PCI-Express V1.1+, at least one PCIex16
  • Support for either ATI Crossfire or nVidia SLI (Intel X58/Skulltrail has both)
