| Additional Information | X | Why choose Cryo Performance ComputersOur name echoes our principles in systems design and building: Cryo - ' Cold; freezing' Performance - ' 1. the execution or accomplishment of work, acts, feats, etc. 2. an action or proceeding of an unusual or spectacular kind. 3. the act of performing. 4. the manner in which or the efficiency with which something reacts or fulfils its intended purpose.'
At Cryo PC we understand the importance of design, selection of components and cooling in producing the best PC's on the market giving you: - Typically 30-50% better performance over any mainstream manufacturer (typical quad core processors currently run at clock speeds between 2.4GHz and 3GHz, ours run between 3.6GHz and 4.5GHz!)
- Extended lifetimes of 30% or more, effectively reducing the cost
- Reduced obsolesce by building in future technology now and leaving lots of room for upgrades and component changes that don't require a wholesale swap
- Advanced building techniques and optimisations
- Personal and individual service and customisation to your requirements (photographic, 3D graphics, games, simulations, multimedia, mathematical modelling)
The fact is that over the years in the highly competitive field of PC manufacture and support the industry has succeeded by focussing more and more on simplification and standardisation. This has brought a 'standard' affordable PC to the mass market very effectively. Unfortunately this very process while now delivering a usable PC for reduced initial outlay has also delivered us: - underperforming products - sub-optimised to do all things for all users to a mediocre standard,
- using already obsolete technology - to take out the manufacturing risk and development costs of using new technology,
- and with poor support for modern software demands (i.e. Windows Vista and 3D graphics) - how many times have you installed new and upgraded software only to find your PC grinds to a halt!
- detuned processing power - manufacturers and designers have to factor in the least common denominator when specifying processing speed limits for system builders (rather like allowing for the fact some users might run their Ferraris on watered down petrol!). Considerably more is available with better designs!
We design using tomorrows emerging technology today and get the best performance for the extreme gamer, media professional, photographer and power user alike. Previously only a few highly competent and dedicated computer professionals and enthusiasts have had access to this top tier of engineering and design excellence (please see our ethos and methodology page for more detail about how our component selection, design and engineering approach work uniquely to your advantage). |

| Additional Information | X | Good for extreme gaming...There's no doubt that modern games really are the most demanding of all current PC applications, extreme graphics require and extreme custom built computer. The extreme gamer or hardcore PC enthusiast absolutely requires their PC to be responsive, multimedia capable, have a wealth of storage and fast disk access times to that storage. Any compromise quickly degrades the immersive experience and also means you cannot be at your best and achieve the highest results. As games are the most demanding all our systems are tested on real world games such as Crysis, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Vanguard, Bioshock and Age of Conan. With all graphics settings pushed to the max and extremes of simultaneous physics, graphics and sound turned loose, we aim for frame rates over 60fps for maximum playability and ultimate realism. For this kind of performance you really can't beat the Cryo Extreme or Cryo Velox products. If you have bigger budget then why not treat yourself to the ultimate in gaming rigs the Cryo Octane, where no expense is spared for eight way performance. We also ensure the opportunity to upgrade remains open with nVidia SLI and ATI Crossfire support. If games on your current PC feel like a slide show you know its creaking and you need a Cryo upgrade... Tested with:

| Additional Information | X | Good for all power users...Well basically what we are trying to say here is there isn't anything you can't do with a Cryo PC because a PC just can't get much better than this. In almost all cases its a matter of matching up what you need for what you do with what you can get the best value out of so you don't buy expensive components you simply don't require. For most people we recommend the entry level Cryo Quad machine, it is superb value for money. Unless you want us to we also won't spend your money making it look like something that's just fallen of an alien space ship. We stick with stylish classic good looks so it will look good anywhere in your home without making a fuss with flashing lights and garish spray painted body work and hood ornaments! We spend your money where we think you would want it spent, at the business end of what the computer does best. |

| Additional Information | X | Cryo Boost™, Overclocking & Optimisation - Boost is a combination of design, assembly and software technology that we use to 'tune up' your PC and get the maximum processing power. An element of this is what many of our competitors call overclocking, the process of running the clocks of your system at a higher speed than the manufacturer intended. Well we do a lot more than that. We don't just boost the CPU speed we examine and boost every clock, reduce every delay timer, turn up every bus and eliminate all bottlenecks. Without our careful component selection it simply wouldn't be possible to push the systems this hard. We also have a few closely guarded secrets to throw into the mix that boost it still further. What you might call an Extreme Overclock! Price and performance promise - We are so confident that you will not get a PC that performs as fast or as well as ours from any other manufacturer we stake our reputation on it. We publish benchmarks for all our PC's to demonstrate just how far ahead of the pack they really are. Virtually no other manufacturer does the same, I wonder why... |
