One Year RTB Warranty (standard) Terms:
DOA - Dead on Arrival period, a period of fourteen days after receipt of the PC in which any faults may be reported and treated as original faults before use and not consequential after use and therefore falling under the warranty terms.
RTB - Return to Base, in the event of a warranty claim under RTB the buyer is responsible for safe return of the PC or components of it as agreed with Cryo PC. This responsibility includes costs of shipping, security, insurance and adequate packaging. Cryo PC are not responsible for warranty transit damage. We recommend customers retain all original packaging for in the event anything should need returning.
• Refunds - A Cryo PC Custom PC is bespoke to your requirements and as such therefore a non-refundable item once the order is firmly placed and payment has cleared. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with one or more individual components they may be replaced/upgraded with only the difference in price and shipping being chargeable (shipping is free during DOA period for warranty claims). Should you discover through use that you require different or more powerful components and decide after receipt of your PC that you require upgraded components Cryo PC can usually be very flexible and accommodate you by special arrangement.
• Packaging - Retain all the packing you receive. This is the safest possible way to ship a PC. We will only accept a system back in for repairs and upgrades if all the original packing is kept and every step is taken to avoid the system getting damaged in transit. If you have thrown away your packaging you can purchase proper packaging from us at a cost and by arrangement we can organise collection.
• Surplus Parts – When you receive your PC you will likely also receive a number of unused parts in the original boxes that are important for any future upgrades or warranty replacement work. Be sure to keep those original parts.
• Faulty Components - Faulty components will be replaced or upgraded as quickly as possible. This warranty covers components that have been bought from and installed by Cryo PC Computers and support for PCs that have been built by us only. With user serviceable components such as memory and graphics cards, we will send replacements upon receipt of the faulty ones. Any unused stock parts such as coolers for your CPU will be sent in your accessories box. Failure to retain these coolers will result in voiding this warranty for any components that those coolers belonged to. A part is not considered complete without all its original packaging, unused parts, discs, software and documentation. Please keep them safe!
• DOA Period - If your PC or any of its components are determined to need replacing within the first 14 days of you receiving your PC we will take care of replacements and/or repairs and delivery free of charge.
• Upgrades – This warranty covers labour for any upgrades carried out on your PC but not shipping or the cost of the new hardware. There is a further 6 month warranty on any labour carried out and any parts replaced by us during the repair or upgrade of your PC.
• Liquid Cooling - All liquid cooling hardware is covered by this warranty (labour, parts and delivery) for the first 24 months against any defect in the loop. If a pump, radiator or any other part stops working , it will be collected, repaired/replaced and returned with no charges (this excludes fans only). If it is determined that you need to have the water changed in the first year this is also covered.
• Overclocking – If your BIOS is reset at any point, all your overclocking settings are recorded in your order in our systems. Any support you may need entering your overclocking settings is covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover problems directly caused by alterations made to your Cryo PC overclocking profile.
• Hardware Issues - If any system hardware issues occur after the DOA period, the only costs that are not covered by this warranty are the delivery in/out of your PC. We can arrange the collection and delivery of the system. We will only accept a system back via the courier if the ORIGINAL box is kept to ensure safe transit of the machine so it is strongly recommended that you save all original packaging.
• Software and Peripheral Compatibility – This warranty does not cover software, firmware related issues or third party peripheral compatibility.
• Shipping - If ever your system needs to be sent back to our lab, we can arrange for it to be picked up for next working day and inform of charges prior to that. For small components, please send them back to us via recorded delivery and we will send you replacements upon receipt of the faulty ones.
• On site Fixes - We may at our discretion choose to fix your PC on-site, if feasible we can also offer to deploy an engineer on site at your convenience for a reasonable call out and hourly engineering charge.
• Lifetime Support – Lifetime support is provided via chat and email for any minor issues. We will always try to help with any software/hardware/installation issues free of charge. Although the limit of our direct responsibility is for the hardware and operating system. Software packages and accessory hardware beyond that is out of scope, though we will provide support on a best endeavours basis.
• Customer Modifications and Upgrades – We understand the need for our customers to make changes and perform upgrades themselves within your own technical understanding and capability. Such modifications and upgrades will not void your warranty unless they have caused direct damage, compromised the systems integrity or resulted in incidental damage to other system components. System stability problems after modification may also be considered outside of the scope of warranty depending on context. Our advice is to consult us regarding your warranty circumstances if you intend to carry out any non-trivial work on your Cryo PC.
• No Fault Found – in the event a warranty claim is made the warranty triage process is designed to ensure that all possible remote diagnosis and fixes have been attempted. In the event no fault is found on receipt of a component or the PC then we reserve the right at our discretion to charge back shipping and labour costs for investigation the fault at our standard shipping and engineering rates. Normally we will not pursue such costs if every effort has been made to avoid a return being required.
